Publish your own pages without calling me
An editing layer on the site I built for you, on accounts in your name. See it publish a page before you decide anything.
What it is
Sveltia and Eleventy, assembled and handed over
Both open source, assembled and handed over. Named, because the ownership claim is only true if the thing underneath has a name.
Your office manager writes an article, adds a person, or edits a service line, and it publishes. Three shapes, which is every shape a business actually needs.
What you get
What is handed over
In the handover
- Templates authored as templates. Rather than as one off pages.
- The editor installed. With the content types your business publishes.
- Repository, hosting and integration on your accounts. Created with you in the room, with the publish path walked from end to end before you are left alone with it.
- A handover walkthrough with the person who is going to do the editing. Live, on a call, not a manual.
The price
What it costs
$2,900To add later to a site I built.
Included in the business site and the multi-location site.
I do not add it to a site I did not build. Pages authored as pages have to become templates first, and how far a given site sits from that is not something I can price honestly from the outside.
See it first
A walkthrough, free, before you decide anything
Twenty minutes on a call. I open the editor on a real site, add an article, change a service line, and publish it while you watch. You see how long it takes and what it looks like when the person doing it is not a developer.
Bring the person who would actually be doing the editing. They are the one who has to find it obvious, and they will ask the questions that matter.
Nothing is owed for it and there is nothing to install first. If it is not the right thing for your business you will know inside the twenty minutes, and so will I.
Straight answers
The three things you are thinking
Is there a written guide.
No. The handover is a walkthrough with the person doing the work, and it is better than a document nobody opens.
Is there a monthly fee.
No. Token rotation and watching the publish path sit inside Care if you take it.
What if we break something.
Publishing is versioned. Anything published can be rolled back.
