The review · $750

Be the one they call

Four tabs. Ninety seconds. One phone call. I will tell you exactly what happens to a stranger on your website in that minute, and what it is costing you.

What it is costing you

You are already paying for this and you cannot see it

You know how many enquiries you got last month. You do not know how many people arrived, looked, and left, because nothing on your site counts them and nothing tells you which page lost them.

So the conversation about your website is a conversation about taste. Somebody thinks the homepage looks dated. Somebody else thinks the photos are wrong. Nobody can say which page is losing people, so nothing gets fixed and the argument comes back every year.

A stranger with a real problem makes a decision about you in about ninety seconds. Either you know what happens in that minute or you are guessing.

The address is the whole ask. Anything else you tell me is a shortcut, not a requirement.

What you get

A written report, in your hands inside five working days

In the report

  • Every page, read the way a stranger reads it. Where they land, what the page asks of them, and where the ask is missing entirely.
  • A score for what happens on the way to an enquiry. With the specific problems ranked by what each one is costing you rather than by how easy it is to fix.
  • What happens after somebody hits submit. Whether they get anything back, whether you can tell which page they came from, and whether anything is counted at all.
  • A direct recommendation with a fixed price attached. Rebuild the route through the site you have, or start again. One or the other, named, not a menu.

The price

What it costs

$750Credited in full against any build. If you go ahead with a rebuild or a new site, the review costs you nothing.

Free if I sent it to you first. When I approach a business, the review comes with the approach and nothing is owed for it.

Proof

A decided path, built

Wrenfield Estate Law

Five lawyers, two offices, a separate route to enquiry for every service line. This is what a decided path looks like when it is built.

A demonstration site. The business and the content are fictional, so nothing on it is a claim about anyone. The build, the publishing and the counting are real and running.

How it goes

Four steps, and one of them is yours

  1. You send me your address. Nothing else, no call, no form full of questions.
  2. I read the site. Every page, on a desktop and on a phone, including what happens when I actually submit an enquiry.
  3. Five working days later you get the report.
  4. If you want the work done, the $750 comes off the price. If you want to hand the report to your current developer, do that. It holds up without me.

Straight answers

The three things you are thinking

Is this just a sales pitch with a price on it.

It recommends one of two things and both of them are published at a fixed price on this site. Neither one pays me more to recommend it. That is the whole reason the prices are public.

My developer can tell me what is wrong for free.

He can, and he will tell you what is broken. Which route your site should take, and how to make an enquiry countable so you know next month whether it worked, is a different question and it is not his job.

Will this tell me how many more clients I will get.

No. Anyone who answers that question is making the number up. I will tell you what happens on your site now, what I would change, what it costs, and what the count was before and after.
